Is the $86.97 Senior Lifetime License Worth It?
Six senior annual licenses cost $86.82, only $0.15 less than the senior lifetime base license. The lifetime option begins creating fee-only savings during the seventh season.
Do not assume lifetime trout coverage. Most senior lifetime licenses issued on or after January 1, 2015 still require a new Trout Permit each year when the holder fishes for trout.

One-day blackout: one-day resident and one-day tourist licenses cannot be used from March 15 through April 30. A one-day license beginning March 14 expires at 11:59 p.m. that day.
